Hope in Mental Illness
Pastor Ben Berger - 8/21/2022
Mental illness affects more people than we often realize. For many, it’s like an enemy that’s laid siege to their lives: The distress is significant; the pain is real – and this holds true for Christians too.
So when you’re struggling in ways unseen by others with heartache that just persists; when you’re betrayed by your own mind and emotions; when the enemy has surrounded you and it seems like there’s nowhere to flee, what then?
Listen, friend, to what Psalm 46 so beautifully and powerfully proclaims: Even in such chaos, Christ is your refuge. Run to him!
