Hope in Shame
Pastor Ben Berger - 8/14/2022
Everyone experiences shame.
When the teacher sends a letter home to our parents about our classroom behavior, we sense shame. When we’re pulled over on the side of the road for speeding and the bright LED lights of the patrol car attract everyone’s attention to us, we sense shame. When our name is published in the local paper for a DUI, we sense shame.
And when we come face to face with the pain our words and actions have caused; when we’re frightened by our own sin-sick heart; when we don’t even dare to lift our face toward heaven - that kind of shame can leave us unhinged. Where do we turn?
Find the answer as you walk with a woman who left her shame with Jesus.
