It’s an important question. As Christians, we recognize that God has gifted both men and women with a variety of skills to serve society and care for their families. And while the mission of Christianity isn’t societal reformation, we’re nevertheless rightly upset by favoritism or bias or that demeans others, because that’s sin. When we see how sinful human beings have often used that favoritism or bias to advance their own selfish and self-centered interests, when we see how some men have seized that opportunity to dominate or abuse women at home, at work, even in the visible church? Well, it’s natural for us to ask: What exactly is it that our Christian faith teaches about men and women, males and females?

God’s Word shows us the answer: As males and females, we share equally in Christ!
