The Apostle Paul wanted people to recognize Jesus. He wanted everyone to understand the truth about Jesus’ death and resurrection.

So, do we?

You might think, “Of course I recognize who Jesus is!” Praise God for that! But there are still times and places, even Christians, where we may struggle to recognize Jesus, to see his crucifixion and death for all that it means. There are times when we don’t so much listen to the voice of our Good Shepherd as we wander from it or struggle to hear it, filled as our ears and minds and hearts are with something else. There are parts of our lives that need to hear what Paul says right here: Let it be known!
