Ascension Community CPR Event
On Saturday May 11, Ascension is hosting a special friends and family community CPR event. An American Heart Association trainer will be providing an overview of compression-only CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) that will give participants hands on practice with this potentially life-saving skill. Attendees will learn about proper compression techniques, AED functionality, and more, and will include Q&A as time allows. Participants will also receive a free student manual that covers basic first aid and provides next steps in becoming certified in adult, child, and infant CPR.
This event does not provide a formal CPR certification, but rather is intended to help you take action in a life-threatening emergency. Much of the time, the person who needs CPR is known personally to the one providing help. This means your preparation could be critical for a family or friend in the future.
There is no charge for this event, and all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend! However, space is limited and registration is required. We have three sessions available for this event, each lasting approximately 90 minutes. Please register using the links below for your preferred session:
